Privacy policy
This magazine runs no trackers, no analytics and no advertising cookies. This page states exactly what that means in practice.
York Fourth is a static magazine: the pages you read are plain files served without scripts, analytics or advertising cookies. We do not track visitors, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell data, because the site carries no mechanism that could do any of those things.
What the site itself does
Each page loads one stylesheet and one local icon, both served from this domain, alongside the photographs of the magazine. No third party receives a request when you read a page. No account exists, no newsletter is sold and no log in is offered.
Email correspondence
If you write to contact@july4york.com, we keep your message and address for as long as the conversation lasts, and we add neither to any list. Correspondence that leads to a correction is archived with the page it improved, and nothing else is kept.
External links
Some pages point to organizers, borough offices and history institutions for the reader's convenience; once you follow a link away from this site, the policies of the destination apply. Our own terms page governs the use of these pages, and the editorial policy governs what appears on them.
